Hi folks,
I have what may be some good news for Panama City Beach condo sellers and condo buyers should take note as well.
Last month, the month of March the average sales price of condos on the beach increased by $40,000.00. And the average price per square foot increased by $10.00 over the previous month to $196.00 per sq. ft. There was just 22.5 months of condo inventory at the current sales rate.
There was encouraging data with regard to Bay County residential vacant lands sales as well. This market has been dismal for sellers and buyers just haven’t been interested however, the month on March showed a definite spike in the number of sales, volume of land sales and sales price. There were twice as many sales the volume of dollars sold was nearly triple what February’s volume sales were and the sales price was double that of the month of February. The months of inventory was reduced by 1/2.
This certainly is encouraging data for sellers of Panama City Beach condos and vacant land in Bay County.
Buyers should take note as this data may just be the early signs that the market may be moving up in terms of prices increasing.
With regard to Panama City, Panama City Beach and Bay County home prices the overall data is not show shiny. Average sales price in March came down some more to $164,661.00.
To look over the data yourself navigate to Panama City Beach Market Data.
Thanks and have a GREAT day!
