As a happily married couple we try to be good people with good hearts. We encourage you to participate in any way you can to lend a helping hand to another who may be less fortunate.

These are some of the charitable organizations in the local Panama City, Panama City Beach area and world wide non-profit organizations that we contribute to and work with. For us this is definately a work in progress! We hope to add more and be able to give more in the future!

One of our favorite organizations is Kiva.org.

Kiva lets you loan to the working poor!

This has got to be one of the GREATEST ideas yet! For as little as $25.00 YOU can have a MAJOR impact on someones life! Kiva lets you connect with and loan money to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. By choosing a loan on Kiva, you can "sponsor a business person" and help the world's working poor make great strides towards economic independence. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates from the entrepreneur you've sponsored. As loans are repaid, you get your loan money back! The Panama City Rescue Mission. Provides recovery, outreach and ministry to those in need. The Panama City Rescue Mission is a privately funded, nonprofit 501©(3) organization. It receives no city, county, state or federal funding and is not currently an affiliated agency of the United Way (however,United Way contributors can designate their donations to the Mission). All funding comes from grants, foundations, businesses, churches, and members of the community, plus proceeds from The Bargain Center.

American Red Cross is THE worldwide disaster relief agency helping those in need whenever and wherever people need help and assistance.

Salvation Army Panama City Florida "The Salvation Army is serving more people in the USA than ever before. We are already seeing large increases in the number of Americans seeking the basic necessities of life - food, shelter, and warmth. More than 33 million people received help from The Salvation Army in 2004."

"The IDOL GIVES BACK FOUNDATION is a new U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organization, working to help young people living in poverty in the U.S. and around the world." They have collaborated with the ONE Campaign. "The ONE Campaign seeks to raise public awareness about the issues of global poverty, hunger, disease and efforts to fight such problems in developing countries." See where Idol Aid goes. This is very efficient. By giving to Idols Gives back to are are helping the Foundation's Beneficiary Charities: The Children's Defense Fund, Children's Health Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, and Save the Children. The mission of the Friends of St. Andrew Bay is to evaluate the status of the St. Andrew Bay ecosystem, identify problems, and initiate corrective actions where necessary. The goal of Friends of St. Andrew Bay is to maintain and restore a healthy St. Andrew Bay ecosystem for the benefit of all people.
