Vivian and Mike Foate's Charitable Giving. Organizations We Contribute To and
Work With.
As a happily married couple we try to be good people with good hearts. We encourage
you to participate in any way you can to lend a helping hand to another who may
be less fortunate.
These are some of the charitable organizations in the local Panama City, Panama
City Beach area and world wide non-profit organizations that we contribute to
and work with. For us this is definately a work in progress! We hope to add more
and be able to give more in the future!
Thank you and I hope you get to the beach today!
Happy trails and happy giving, Vivian and Capt. Mike Foate
One of our favorite organizations is Kiva.org.
Kiva lets you loan to the working poor!
This has got to be one of the GREATEST ideas yet! For as little as $25.00
YOU can have a MAJOR impact on someones life! Kiva lets you connect with
and loan money to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. By choosing a
loan on Kiva, you can "sponsor a business person" and help the world's working
poor make great strides towards economic independence. Throughout the course of
the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates from the
entrepreneur you've sponsored. As loans are repaid, you get your loan money
back! You can then turn around and make another loan or cash out and get your
money back. To see how
Kiva works go here.
What others are saying about www.Kiva.org:
